09/07/09 – Raccoon Cabin A daughter, son-in-law, and 10 month old granddaughter drew us to Whittier and these beautiful hills. Raccoon Cabin was a delightful place to share with them: cook-out on the grill, evening fire pit and chattering Humming birds throughout our Labor Day Holiday. 09/07/09 – Moose Cabin This is my first visit to the cabins here. I was very impressed with how neat and clean it is. I am enjoying Labor Day weekend with my oldest daughter, her husband, and their two children. It’s nice to not have to lug sheets, towels and paper products. 09/07/09 – Moose Cabin We have had such a relaxing holiday weekend. This place has all the perks of the hotel (towels and linens), but with the comforting necessities of home ( kitchen and separate rooms). We had a wonderful time with the kids. We were close enough to all the attractions, yet giving us the peace and quite of the mountains. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and we all loved playing horse shoes. 09/07/09 – Bear Cabin We enjoyed our stay in the Bear Cabin. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary and it was wonderful here. The cabin was very comfortable – just like home. Randy and Michelle were very friendly and we loved the brownies!! - Daren & Audra, Gainesville, G.A. 09/05/09 – Opossum Cabin We had a wonderful time exploring the area. From Cherokee to Murphy, Dillsborough, Sylva, Waynesville, Franklin, and we are off to see Cashiers. This was a great “home base”! It was nice and quiet and the laundry room was very handy. We are going to try to get the family here and maybe rent all the cabins and have a reunion! We will recommend to our friend. If you ever get over to Burlington, look us up! - Kathy & Steve

08/12/09 – Raccoon Cabin We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and our son really enjoyed making smores each night and playing badmitten. Our most favorite activities in the area were hiking to Mingo Falls off Big Cove road in Cherokee and rafting down the Tugaseegee river. Great family activities. - John, Shelley, and Nathan
